Fundamentals and Concepts

Not everything in jiu-jitsu belongs to a position. The solo movements (shrimp, bridge, technical stand-up, granby), the principles (frames, base, posture, pressure, connection) and the training methods (drilling, positional sparring, competing, staying healthy) are what make the techniques work. Start here if you are new, and come back here whenever you plateau.
